About this Event
Hosted by Arlington-based artist Sarah Fridrich, this intimate singer-songwriter showcase centers deep listening and shared reflection.
Expect stories and songs both motherhood-centric, and wildly NOT. Come experience the connection and community born of music, song, and story!
Performers:
- award-winning Arlington, VA songwriter and one-half of local acoustic group String Mamas.
- songwriter, music educator, accomplished vocalist, and a 2025 finalist in the Strathmore Music Center’s Bernard/Ebb Songwriting Awards.
- songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and native Washingtonian, who recently recorded an album of original songs inspired by the joy, pain, frustration, hope, and humor of motherhood.
- Latin Grammy-nominated songwriter & multi-instrumentalist, originally from Nicaragua, whose music was called “bilingual folk … for the resistance” by the Washington City Paper.
If you’d like to lean into the cozy, intimate atmosphere, you’re welcome to bring a light blanket and a personal mug (we'll also have cups available) to be served light refreshments.
