About this Event
A short course to help you explore the form of Ogham writing, an early medieval alphabet used to write the early Irish language. Ogham letters were carved into large stone slabs or plaques during the height of the 'Classical' phase of Ogham during the 5th to 7th centuries CE. Create your own Ogham print with the writing of your choice using calligraphy paper and ink. The instructor for this course is Nancy Lewis who has been teaching art for over 30 years in The Bethlehem Area School District. She has taught Ogham Writing Classes using various materials.
