About this Event
Join us for a relaxed neighbourhood walk through one of Edmonton’s most vibrant and community-driven areas.
We’ll begin at Transcend Coffee Roastery before heading out for a guided walk through the Ritchie neighbourhood, exploring its character, history, and local feel.
From there, we’ll make our way toward Mill Creek Ravine for a light hike along the paved trails — weather and conditions permitting — before looping back through the neighbourhood.
This is an easy, conversation-first experience designed to help people slow down, get outside, and connect in real life.
No phones. No pressure. Just a great group of people and a good way to spend your Saturday.
When:

Where:
Meet inside Ritchie Market in front of Transcend Coffee Roastery
Arrive anytime between 10:30–11:00 AM if you’d like to grab a coffee beforehand.
We’ll head out right at 11:00 AM.
Details:
This is a casual, all-level walk — no fitness experience required.
Route will include:
- Ritchie neighbourhood streets
- Local gathering spots and community spaces
- A stretch through Mill Creek Ravine (paved paths only, weather permitting)
We’ll keep an easy pace with time for conversation and a few natural pause points along the way.
Dress for the weather and early spring conditions. Footwear with good traction is recommended.
