The Officer Andrew Esparza Memorial 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Run honors the legacy of Irving Police Officer Andrew Esparza (IPD# 966, EOW 4/13/2007). Now in its 19th year, this certified chip-timed race benefits the Andrew Esparza Foundation, which has awarded over $65,000 in college scholarships to Irving ISD, Burleson ISD students, and children of Irving Police Officers. Race starts at 8:30 AM at Toyota Music Factory, Irving, TX. Early packet pickup on Friday, April 10 from 3:00–7:00 PM at Irving Police North Station. Timing by Cox Racing Services.
