About this Event
Ren McCormack, an ordinary teenager from Chicago, IL, likes to dance off the stress from his long and arduous work days. But, due to financial pressures brought on by his father's abandonment, he and his mother have to move to the small, conservative town of Bomont where dancing is, in fact, illegal.
Immediately at odds with the repressive atmosphere in Bomont, Ren and his newfound friends hatch a plan to change things and alleviate teenage pressures with a school dance. Meanwhile, the town’s deeply religious Reverend Moore will do anything within his power to stop it from happening (and keep his rebellious daughter in line).
