For three hours, a former office stops behaving like one!
Of Grit and Grid is a one-night exhibition presented by Site Seen Inc, bringing together 36 artists inside a repurposed ground-floor workspace in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The space remains intact. Glass, walls, layout, all of it. Nothing is softened. Nothing is disguised.
Instead, the work moves directly into it.
Across sculpture, installation, painting, photography, and mixed media, the exhibition explores structure, repetition, constraint, pressure, and the quiet tension between order and disruption.
This is not a white cube.
This is a space with a past, still visible.
And for a brief window, it becomes something else.
