Philadelphia Department of Commerce, Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) presents the “Business Development Series” (BDS). The goals of each event are to:
Explore opportunities to build your business with City contract.
Develop a strategy for pursuing competitive and non-competitive bids.
Learn about resources available to support your business.
BDS is an outgrowth from OEO’s annual Minority Enterprise Development Week (MED Week) and is part of OEO’s initiative to create a series of educational sessions designed to promote growth for our minority-, women-, and disabled-owned (M/W/DSBE) businesses. The Business Development Series will occur January through June and September through November on the 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of the months mentioned. Presenters include Procurement, Chief Administrative Office, Office of Economic Opportunity.
