This playful, dance-theatre adventure combines Breakin' with immersive audio storytelling to put you in the driver's seat.Grab a headset and join the journey of three friends as they hit the road in a rush to reach their own show. Once the engine starts expect explosive breakin' along with high energy hip hop before hitting the breaks for more loose and liquid movement. Along the way, you'll discover each artist's individuality through relatable stories and personal perspectives.
O'Driscoll Collective are putting you in control, allowing you to switch between different musical genres via your audio headset. Switch from k-pop to Miles Davis, or pure funk to Donald Trump. Which sound suits the story? What music moves you? You decide. Choose your sound, change your story.
ADDITIONAL EVENT INFORMATION
Something OUTTA Nothing features the ability for some of the audience to listen to alternative audio tracks using special headsets. Headsets are limited and if you wish to reserve a set, pre-booking here is essential. Headsets will be available to collect on the day from the Activate information tent.
The show also contains a general audio track for all to hear, and therefore no booking is required if you're happy to watch without a headset.
This performance is part of Street in the Park, Activate’s family friendly celebration of music and dance. Street in the Park runs from 2pm-7:30pm, and entry to the event is free. Something OUTTA Nothing will close the event, and we anticipate the show starting at around 6pm near the bandstand in Dorchester's Borough Gardens.
