AboutThis creative workshop is all about celebrating Mother Earth and honoring the trees! Earth Day
is every day and we’ll bring remembrance to that with a grounding earth focused meditation to
open our time together. Natural wood makes an inspiring canvas – we’ll use acrylic paint, ink,
and markers to bring out and accentuate the beauty that is already there as we intuitively follow
the patterns and textures found in the wood to create works of art.
*All supplies are included; no experience necessary, all are welcome!
*If you have a piece of wood that is calling to you please feel free to bring, otherwise a variety of
wood pieces will be provided.
About Nadia Sperry
Nadia has been immersed in a dedicated practice of art and jewelry for 15 years. She’s also a yogi and meditator, with a committed practice since 2016. She received her 200-hour YTT from Karma Yoga Center in 2020. As a self-taught artist she has always worked with intuitive expression, enjoying the creative freedom that it offers. This way of approaching art allows for a more playful, open approach, enjoying the process rather than the end result. Drawing from her personal journey, she looks forward to sharing creative, intuitive, and meditative workshops.
