Let’s Paint Pet Portraits!
Join us at Chaos Brewing for a night of Craft Beers & Canvas Painting!
Enjoy a few hours of artistic entertainment and tasty drinks; as you create your own pet portrait following step by step instructions using acrylic paint on a 11x14 stretched canvas.
Take that favorite photo of your pet and turn it into a “created by you” portrait in paint on canvas.
Our studio artist will paint along and assist you in creating the masterpiece of your fur baby, feathered friend, or reptilian rapscallion.
This three hour event allows you plenty of time to paint along with our studio artist as well as get one-on-one assistance without feeling rushed or falling behind.
Register early and send us your pet picture no less than 72 hours before the event. When you arrive, your pet will be sketched to canvas and ready to paint with a color and black and white image of your pet to work from.
We recommend doing one pet per canvas. Make sure photos are of a high resolution and in clear focus. In particular, make sure the eyes and direction of fur can be clearly seen. Choose photos that are taken within a reasonably close distance to your pet. This will help to ensure your photo captures lots of detail. For the best angle, take a photo at your pets eye level. Try offering a treat or toy just above and behind the camera to direct their attention. Feel free to send multiple photos and we will help choose the best option to put to canvas.
No Experience Necessary! We supply you with an apron, easel, canvas, paints, brushes, live instructions, and your first glass of Chaos Craft Beer.
This event is 21+ only. You will be provided a drink ticket for one beverage.
You are encouraged to purchase additional beers and pizza from Chaos.
Arrive early to sample the large selection of onsite brewed beers!
Reservation cancellations… Any cancellation of a reservation within 48 Hours of an event will not get a refund.
You will be offered the opportunity to roll your reservation over to a future Create N Sip Studios class.
This event is held at Chaos Brewing at 112 S Main St in Downtown Joplin.
