Joplin Quilt Show presented by the Joplin Area Town and Country Quilters

The Joplin Area Town & Country Quilters will be holding their quilt show on October 3rd & 4th, 2025 at the Community of Christ Church which is located at 1212 North Goetz Blvd.
The hours will be from 9-5 on both Friday and Saturday. Admission is only $5.00 per person per day. There will be a basket walk, boutique of handmade items, vendors and an Opportunity Quilt. The Opportunity Quilt is an opportunity for people to buy tickets to hopefully win this lovely quilt made by one of our Guild members. Tickets for the quilt drawing are $1.00 for 1 ticket or $5.00 for 25 tickets.
The guild has not had a quilt show since the start of Covid in 2019. The Community of Christ Church kindly reached out and offered their building for the endeavor.
The Joplin Area Town & Country Quilters are a 501c3 organization. We provide many quilts and burp rags each year to several organizations in the area. We also make walker bags and adult bibs that we deliver to area senior centers and nursing homes.
The Guild meets monthly and holds many education classes and workshops throughout the year.
Quilts have become more than just something your grandmother made. While most quilts are typically made to have value as a beautiful way to keep warm and decorate a bed, many have become works of art and hang in museums throughout the country.
