What better place to celebrate National Poetry Day than a medieval pub and marketplace?? Please come, hang out with old friends, meet new friends, and experience a poetry slam like no other. You and your girlfriends are ALL invited. No strings attached. These Ladies' Nights are not work networking events. There are no expectations placed on you. Come as you are, in pajamas or a fancy outfit, make-up on or bare faced, hair done or unwashed and uncombed. Just come.
If you feel so inclined, we'd love to hear a sampling of your favorite poetry, whether written by you, a famous poet, or an unknown soul. There will be a mic available to ensure everyone gets to revel in shared delight.
