Greetings from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College!
We are pleased to invite you to participate in our inaugural Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology Summit on Tuesday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at OCtech. This summit is designed to bring together regional industry leaders, educators and workforce partners to explore emerging technology, evolving workforce needs, and the growing career opportunities at the intersection of advanced manufacturing and engineering technology.
As industries continue to advance through automation, robotics, precision manufacturing and digital technology, collaboration between education and industry has never been more important. This event will feature interactive discussions about workforce trends and tours of OCtech’s advanced manufacturing training labs, where students gain hands-on experience with the same machinery used in today’s facilities. These conversations help ensure that our programs continue to align with the real-world skills employers need most.
