Join the Ocean Saxophone Quartet for their first endorsed concert with Air Music!Air Music specialises in saxophone equipment such as neckstraps, ligatures, and counterweight screws, founded by Taiwan-based saxophone professor Kenny Chia-Hsiu Tsai. These products provide both an optimised projection as well as flexibility of sound. Notably, their neckstraps offer a comfortable distribution of weight on the neck and shoulders without the compensation of instrument’s position in relation to the body, designed with an very sleek look.
To demonstrate this, Ocean will be presenting a program with a wide range of musical colours with renowned pianist Peter de Jager. Ocean will perform Brahms’ canonic Piano Quartet in G minor (movements 3 and 4 arranged by Justinn Lu) alongside the more modern, groovy tunes of Mellits’ Tapas. In addition to these works for three saxophones, Ocean will perform combinations of works for two saxophones— Clara Schumann’s Piano Trio in G minor (movement 1, arranged by Iris Li), Singelee’s Duo Concertante, and Nagao’s Paganini Lost, demonstrating a versatility of colours throughout a wide variety of saxophone instrumentations and genres. Ocean will also conclude the concert with a fan-favourite arrangement featuring all four members!
Air Music products will also be free to try after the concert, and will be selling exclusively for 10% off. We hope you come along (with your saxophones!) to celebrate our first endorsed concert and a night of amazing music!
