The Inaugural OC Fatherhood Coalition Conference: Include, Engage & Empower Dads
Designed for service providers seeking to strengthen father-inclusive practices, this conference brings together professionals committed to better engaging dads. Ideal for school administrators, home visiting providers, SSA and Child Support Services staff, public health nurses, PTA leaders, and others working with families. Attendees will gain practical strategies to increase father engagement and hear directly from a panel of fathers sharing their lived experiences. Lunch will be provided.
The OC Fatherhood Coalition started in 2022, and meets six times a year to discuss best practices, outreach strategies, and share resources for fathers and providers. Our vision is to improve outcomes for children and families by increasing fatherhood engagement with the most underserved populations in Orange County, improving engagement of dads in programs that support families, and impacting future generations. OCFC members include Fatherhood Connection, First 5 OC, Fristers, OC Department of Child Support Services, OC Department of Education, OMID, Purpose Driven Fathers and many others.
