About this Event
For Ages 12 to 18 - Boost your drawing skills with this essential class in observational drawing. Learn anatomical proportion, line weight, shading, and composition. Experiment with different media and techniques as you learn about bone placement, the movement of muscle mass, and skin shading techniques. For reference, we will study figure drawings by artists like Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Titian, Kehinde Wiley, and John Currin. Materials are provided and included in the price of the class. As you work up your drawing skills, experience drawing a professional (clothed) figure model in the second half of the session.
Masks are required inside the Armory for all students and visitors. We are requiring proof of vaccination for ALL studio participants, please note that there will be no exemptions. Please read our onsite class safety protocols
