We would like to thank everyone for their continuous support with our previous events! And after nearly a yearlong journey of organizing underground bush parties, We are ready to co-create our biggest event yet…
Most of our past gatherings have been held at an amazing outdoor venue the Blue hole. Even though the land has its own history, it chose to accept us and we worked alongside to create some beautiful high vibrational events.
The blue hole is great but it has a capacity which can be very limiting, and who wants to be limited when it comes to creation. We are excited to announce that this year we are gathering at the Cobb valley.
OASIS 2024 FEATURES
ZONES
Sacral stage
Clayton is known for professionally tuning his rig and always making sure any unwanted frequencies are removed during the sound check, creating crisp sound for the rest of the event.
Discrete stage
Discrete sounds are bringing out their system to the Cobb valley once again, to create a sheltered stomp area. The discrete rig is known for its clear sound. Now equipped with eight Subs, four Kicks, four Mids and four Highs, their completely handbuilt four-way Paraflex sound system is ready to deliver 19kw RMS worth of brain-shaking sound
Workshop area
The chill zone will be a comfortable space created for you all to take a break from the party, there will be a few artsy activities to engage in.
The chill zone will also facilitate the workshops, drumming, and sound journeys during the day.
VISUAL PROJECTIONS/ LIGHTING
There’s nothing better than looking at a stage with the most beautiful high quality visual projections.
We are also going above and beyond with lighting this year, bringing in inventory’s from across the South Island to create an amazing night time atmosphere.
PSY-CARE/SECURITY/MEDIC
Your Safety and mental well-being is very important to us so if you ever need any help look out for our psy-care or security team, We will also have a medic tent next to psy-care.
They are all very friendly and caring so don’t be shy to ask for help.
FOOD MARKET/WATER
Make sure to eat and hydrate properly over the event, nourishment is key for a good time. There will be a large variety of vendors serving delicious meals, drinks and snacks
but still bring your own food to be self-sufficient.
Drinking water will be supplied onsite.
FIRE SPINNING
Step into the fiery embrace of the open fire circle, where the night comes alive with the flickering glow of spinning flames. Bring your staffs, poi, and other fire toys, and join our community of local fire talent as they ignite the evening with their mesmerizing performances.
RESPECT THE LAND/RUBBISH
Rubbish bins will be provided but it is your responsibility to make sure your rubbish gets to the bin, it’s not a big ask for you to deal with your rubbish accordingly but it takes our hard working crew hours to pick up your litter.
You will be handed rubbish bags upon entry, use these to keep your campsite clean.
LINE UP
This year we are going to be bringing together lots of Aotearoa’s underground talent. Including local/national DJs and headliner acts, vocalists, musicians and more.
With having the space to make 2 stages we aim to create a genre diverse line up to suit everyone who wishes to attend.
Line up is featuring but not limited to
Techno, Dubs, Psytrance, Drum and bass, Progressive trance, Reggae, Hip hop.
CONSENT
It is crucial to ask for consent before touching someone, even in situations like a hug.
We will have a friendly psy-care and security team patrolling the site in high visibility gear, If you see or hear of something happening don’t be afraid to let us know as it’s important we deal with these situations immediately to keep everyone safe.
Our intention with Oasis is to create a space to connect and grow, to dance and step into your high vibrational state.
