Oakville Galleries Public Program | Petals in Print

Oakville Galleries invites you to Petals in Print, a family-friendly public program. Begin with an inspiring guided tour of our current exhibition, Les Fleurs du Mal, in Gairloch Gardens. Then, get hands-on in a Gelli Plate printmaking workshop, using real flowers from artist Abbas Akhavan’s installation (untitled, 2027–ongoing) located at our Centennial Square gallery to create a one-of-a-kind print to take home. Take the opportunity to enjoy the lovely spring weather in the garden or visit our exhibition at Centennial Square afterwards!

Program Schedule:

To enjoy the full program, we recommend to drop in at 12 or 1 PM:

• Guided Tour at 12:00 PM → Workshop at 12:30 PM
• Guided Tour at 1:00 PM → Workshop at 1:30 PM

Everyone is welcome, and no prior experience is needed.

Please note: Caregivers and children create artwork side by side, supervision is the responsibility of the caregiver.

Donations are encouraged, with all proceeds supporting , the charity behind some of Canada’s most impactful environmental initiatives.
