About this Event
In May 1972, the Ascension Cathedral made history by hosting the inaugural Greek Week, marking the beginning of a beloved tradition that has since evolved into a cornerstone of Oakland's cultural landscape. What began as a humble gathering has become the highly anticipated Oakland Greek Festival - a celebration of our rich culture.
As we welcome you to this year's festivities, we invite you to immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and flavors of Greece, and to join us in celebrating our shared heritage and community spirit.
