Oakland Estuary Volunteer Beautification Day at Union Point Park

Led in partnership with The Oakland Ballers, California Climate Action Corps and Oakland Public Works, we're showing how much we #LOVEOAK together as one BIG Oakland family!

• What: Keep Oakland Beautiful Shoreline and Park Beautification Event
• When: Monday, January 19th, 2026 at 9:00AM
• Where: 📍 2311 Embarcadero - Union Point Park at The Oakland Estuary

Bring your pups (on leash!) Activities include mulching, composting, litter pick up, graffiti abatement, recycling education/games, free prize giveaways in support of Oakland local businesses. Coffee, drinks, breakfast snacks, light lunch will be served.

All registered "BALLUNTEERS" who participate in the beautification event will receive complimentary tickets to see our CHAMPION OAKLAND BALLERS play in 2026 courtesy of the Oakland Ballers Club as a THANK YOU for beautifying the community.

In the words of Dr. King: "Everybody can be great, because Everybody can serve."

💚 Check-in begins at 8:30AM at the Keep Oakland Beautiful tent.

💚 Oakland's Adopt-A-Spot program will provide mulch, compost, cleaning and painting supplies, feel free to bring your own gloves.

💚 Groups are welcome but everyone must register.

💚 Water station will be available, please bring your own water bottle to reduce waste.

Important Notes:

• Registration for this fun event ends Sunday 1/18 at 8AM Pacific.
• While supplies last.
• Only registered volunteers who participate will receive game day tickets.
• One (1) ticket per registered volunteer.
• Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
• Dogs must remain on leash.
• All volunteers will need to sign a City of Oakland waiver at registration.

Registered volunteers must arrive by 9:00AM and participate in the beautification and clean up on Monday 1/19/26 to receive your ticket(s).
