Moderate 4- 6 mi R/T, 800ft total gain loop hike traversing the varied terrain and scenery of Santiago Oaks Regional Park in Orange. A couple of steep hills.We will climb to panoramic OC and mountain views, This park has both hills and forested valleys.Special Guest, Professional Geologist Jay Schneider will hike along with us and describe some interesting geological features.
Bring snacks, 2qts water, ten essentials, hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, $ for optional dinner afterwards.
Moderate hike, if hike is too fast or too slow you may sign out.
Significant rain within 3 days closes park and cancels hike.
