NZSL & Deaf Culture Taster Sessions

Come one, come all to the Mt Albert Library's NZSL & Deaf Culture Taster Sessions! Get involved with NZSL Week at Mt Albert Library with free New Zealand Sign Language and Introduction to Deaf Culture sessions.

These free 2 hourtaster sessions are taught by a qualified Deaf tutor in partnership with the Auckland Deaf Society. A NZSL interpreter will be available during the first class to ease you into the "voice-off" immersion style NZSL class. You will learn about NZ Deaf History & Culture and simple, everyday NZSL signs to get you involved in NZSL this year. Ages 14+ welcome!
