Come one, come all to the Auckland Deaf Society's NZSL Open Night! Help us kick off NZSL Week early at Mt Albert Library with a free 30min NZSL class and Introduction to Deaf Culture taster session, with games and spot prizes. All ages welcome!This free event is an opportunity for the Auckland Deaf Society to help increase visibility of Deaf Culture and NZSL, to showcase our NZSL courses, and help Mt Albert Library kick-start our series of NZSL Week events throughout May.
We hope for this event to increase awareness of the upcoming NZSL Week, encourage participation and interest in learning NZSL and to empower hearing communities to understand more about Deaf Culture.
