Σχηματισμένοι από το σαμανικό ζευγάρι Natasha "Baba Yaga" και Anatoly Pakhalenko το 2013, οι NYTT LAND είναι ένα από τα πιο συναρπαστικά και στοιχειωτικά συγκροτήματα που έχει να προσφέρει η dark folk μουσική σκηνή. Τa τελευταίa επικά τους άλμπουμ έχουν κυκλοφορήσει από την Napalm Records, και προσκαλουν τους ακροατές σε έναν μυστικιστικό κόσμο αρχαίων κρουστών οργάνων και απόκοσμων φωνητικών ηχοτοπίων. Το άλμπουμ Torem σας μεταφέρει σε μια μοναδική ηχητική εμπειρία και ταξίδι της νέας τριλογίας του συγκροτήματος, αφιερωμένης στους τρεις κόσμους στην κοσμολογία της γης τους. Το Torem τραγουδιέται στις παλιές γλώσσες Khanty (σιβηρική φυλή) και Old Norse (παλαιά ισλανδικά), και ο τίτλος του, στις φιννοουγγρικές γλώσσες των αυτόχθονων λαών της Σιβηρίας, σημαίνει "Μεγάλος Ουρανός" - ο Μεγάλος Ουρανός στον οποίο κάθονται οι πρόγονοι και όπου οι ψυχές των ανθρώπων και των ζώων ξαναγεννιούνται με τη μορφή πουλιών. Αυτό είναι επίσης το μέρος όπου ο σαμάνος κάνει το πρώτο του ταξίδι για να μάθει τη σοφία του Μεγάλου Πνεύματος.
Ο μοναδικός ήχος των NYTT LAND είναι εμπνευσμένος από τον ήχο της σιβηρικής φύσης - οι μουσικές τους ρίζες είναι βαθιά συνδεδεμένες με τη μυθολογία, τα ιστορικά θέματα και την αρχαία σαμανική κουλτούρα. Οι στίχοι και ο ρυθμός του τραγουδιού ερμηνεύονται ως το υπερβατικό ταξίδι ενός σαμάνου που ανησυχεί για το αν μπορεί να επιστρέψει από αυτή την κατάσταση. Το κοσμικό ταξίδι των NYTT LAND κορυφώνεται με το "Rise of Midgard", το οποίο σηματοδοτεί την εμφάνιση της εικόνας της γέννησης του σαμάνου, την εξέγερση από το σώμα του γιγάντιου Ymir του μεσαίου κόσμου (Midgard) ως της υψηλότερης δημιουργίας των Θεών στη δύναμή τους.

Siberian dark folk duo NYTT LAND invites fans of HEILUNG, WARDRUNA and beyond into a spiritual, cosmic world! Formed by shamanic couple Natasha “Baba Yaga” and Anatoly Pakhalenko in 2013, NYTT LAND is one of the most captivating and haunting acts the dark folk music scene has to offer. Their latest epic album, titled Torem, via Napalm Records, invites listeners into a mystic world of ancient percussive instrumentation and mesmerizing vocal spheres. The album takes you on a unique sonic experience and journey of the band's new trilogy, dedicated to the three worlds in the cosmology of their land. Torem is sung in old languages Khanty (Siberian Native Tribe) and Old Norse (Old Icelandic), and its title, in the Finno-Ugric languages of the indigenous peoples of Siberia, means "Great Sky"- the Great Sky on which ancestors sit, and where the souls of people and animals are reborn in the form of birds. This is also the place where the shaman makes his first journey to learn the wisdom of the Great Spirit. NYTT LAND's unique sound is inspired by the sound of Siberian nature- their musical roots are deeply connected with mythology, historic themes and ancient shamanic culture. You can't resist tracks such as the hypnotic "Nord", a song about the cycle of life, death and rebirth, or when in "Huginn and Muninn", two ravens are endowed with speech. The song is based on the role of Huginn and Muninn as messengers of the supreme God, connected with the tradition of shamanic practices and with the general symbolism of the northern peoples, depicting the raven as a source of hidden knowledge. The lyrics and rhythm of the song are interpreted as the transcendental journey of a shaman who worries about whether he can return from this state. NYTT LAND's cosmic trip culminates with "Rise of Midgard", which marks the appearance of the image of birth to the shaman, the uprising from the body of the giant Ymir of the middleworld (Midgard) as the highest creation of the Gods in their power; and the band provides the perfect musical soundtrack! With intelligent, captivating storytelling, haunting visuals and atmospheric, ambient yet massive melodies encapsulated by unique throat singing, meditative grooves and an otherworldly spirit of mythology and nature, NYTT LAND delivers a breathtaking and captivating live expereince unlike any other.
