Nymphlord (LA)
Nymphlord is the stage name of Tia Rabinovitz, a singer-songwriter and producer whose unique sound is a blend of 90s alt-rock, bush walks, Britney Spears crop tops, dog bites, and cheerleading. Her music is intimate and confessional, drawing inspiration from her own life experiences.” - Where the Music Meets

Big Dog Mastiff
Softie
Softie may be rooted in the dream pop/shoegaze tradition, but where his forebearers in the genre set their pedals toward achieving a celestial grandeur, Oakland's Nicholas Coleman has crafted something decidedly more urgent and earthbound. The result is a Strong Hold, a work that captures the creeping unreality of urban life in a state of decline. Strong Hold does this by sublimating landscape into sound. These five songs crystalize the tension between the natural splendor of the Bay Area and the effects of the industrial system that continues to reshape and deform it. As the EP progresses, Mechanical drumbeats run through these songs like a railway line, keeping time with industrial precision as woozy, disorienting chords roll over them, sometimes as gently as morning fog, and others with the thorny severity of a swarm of wasps.
