About this Event
Join Us at the NYCCC 8th Children's Mental Health Symposium Outreach Event in Brooklyn!
The New York City Children's Center's Annual Children's Mental Health (Virtual) Symposium (CMHS) is now in its 8th year!
We're bringing together amazing people to talk about kids' mental health and how to support our little ones. This fun and inspiring in-person event is all about sharing ideas, learning from experts, and connecting with the community. Whether you're a parent, educator, or simply passionate about children's well-being, come hang out with us in Brooklyn and be part of something great!
Our theme this year is From Fatigue to Focus: Meeting the Moment. And our goal, as it's been since our inaugural CMHS in 2019, is to bring together leading experts, innovators, and advocates in the field to discuss issues impacting pediatric health, with a focus on mental health, and a commitment to driving meaningful solutions to help build a brighter, healthier future for our kiddos.
This year's theme acknowledges the weariness so many of us have felt in recent months and emphasizes the vibe shift needed to "meet the moment" and take actionable steps to ensure that our kiddos and our communities have the tools, supports and resources they need to thrive.
Join us on May 15th for Day 2 of our Children's Mental Health Month celebration. Day 2, Outreach Day, is an in-person event, with opportunities to access care and services; to learn more about NYCCC, our programs, and our role in your communities; and to take home some awesome prizes and giveaways. And perhaps most important, there'll also be tons of fun for kids and adolescents!
