What happens when rope, kink, and Tantra come together in the same room?
Most people think these worlds are very different.
We have found they often lead to the same place.
Presence. Trust. Choice. Freedom. Connection.
In this playful and experiential afternoon, we will explore the beautiful overlap between Shibari, kink, and Tantra.
Kink (whatever feels taboo to you) offers an opportunity to explore parts of yourself that may have been tucked away because of family conditioning, religion, culture, expectations, shame, or fear of judgment. It creates space to question inherited rules and discover what is actually true for you. Not what you were told to want. Not what you were told to avoid. What genuinely lights you up.
What might you choose if nobody else’s baggage was sitting in the driver’s seat?
What becomes possible when curiosity replaces shame?
Shibari and rope offer a powerful pathway into surrender, trust, containment, and being held. In a world that often feels chaotic, overwhelming, and ungrounded, rope can provide a surprising sense of safety, structure, and nervous system support. Through both solo and partnered exercises, you’ll experience how intentional containment can create more freedom, not less.
You’ll discover how being held can sometimes make it easier to relax, let go, and access parts of yourself that have been working hard to stay in control.
Tantra (falling in love with yourself and bringing consciousness to the unconscious) is woven throughout everything we do. Tantra invites us to slow down, become present, listen deeply, and cultivate awareness. It teaches us how to attune to our own bodies, to another person, and to the subtle wisdom that emerges in connection.
Throughout the afternoon we’ll explore:
* Rope based solo and partnered exercises
* Nervous system regulation through connection and containment
* Consent, communication, and choice
* Presence, attunement, and embodiment
* Exploring desire without judgment
* Trust, surrender, and authentic expression
* The surprising places where rope, kink, and Tantra overlap
No previous experience with rope, kink, or Tantra is required.
Come solo, with a partner, or with friends. You do not need to be in a romantic relationship to participate. Many exercises can be adapted to meet your comfort level, and participation is always by choice.
