We're going to tackle this challenge together. I'll be sitting at the Marion County Maker Collective-MC² space at 11:30 pm March 20 and staying through the end of the contest. I'll be there to help you workshop your entries, and hopefully you can come help me workshop mine.
This contest gives you a genre, a word, and an action. Then you have 24 hours to submit a 100 word (or less) microfiction piece including those criteria.
You'll get professionally judged by industry folks, with feedback to make sure you improve. It's a lot of fun, but it would be funner
In order to take part you have to register beforehand, so they can add you to the thousands of people entering. So go check it out.
And of course let me know if you'll be there sometime during those 24 hours. I need to know how much pizza to get. 😀
