About this Event

NYC Men Teach Women's Herstory Month Event

Hosted by Nathaniel Smith, Director of NYC Men Teach at CUNY Queens College, this year's event features NYC Men Teach Lead Program Manager, Vincent Deas as Master of Ceremonies, and special guests Lynae Vanee, Blair Imani, Dr. Patrice Fenton, and Lyrical Faith.


Lynae Vanee is a three-time NAACP Image Award Nominee, a profoundly multifaceted talent, shining as a poet, producer, director, starring personality, and host of Revolt's "The People's Brief."


Blair Imani is a critically acclaimed historian, author, educator, influencer, and creator of the widely popular social media series, "Smarter in Seconds."


Dr. Patrice Fenton is co-founder and Head of Organizational Well-Being at the Ella Baker Institute, equity-centered strategist, highly skilled facilitator, author, and co-host of the Educate U.S. podcast.


Lyrical Faith is a cultural curator, international award-winning Spoken Word Poet, advanced doctoral researcher, and founder of a nationwide experience known as the BLACK AF Conference.


Vincent Deas is the Lead Program Manager for NYC Men Teach at the Office Of Teacher Development at the NYC Public Schools, founder of the Cultural Curators Equity Consulting Company, and national conference presenter, speaker, and youth/community organizer.


Doors to the event at the Patio Room in the Dining Hall Building open at 5:00pm.
