Three Pieces of Broken Glass

The Beauty in Broken Things

Author and illustrator are joining us for the NYC launch of their Kirkus-starred new picture book, .

Inge keeps three pieces of broken glass on her windowsill. When her great-granddaughter asks her why, Inge tells the story of each piece—from the joy of glass breaking at her wedding to harrowing reminders of smashed windows during Kristallnacht. And as Inge tells her stories, her great-granddaughter comes to see the beauty in broken things.

This is a soul-stirring tale, with gorgeous, colorful illustrations, and an extremely important message. Come celebrate its release!

Monday, May 18th at 6pm at Our 17th St Store!
