Come join us for an Intermediate Driving School!This school is intended for drivers that have been autocrossing a minimum of 3 years preferably 5 years and are looking for more advanced help. If you’ve been at this sport for awhile and are looking to make further steps forward, this school is for you.
The school will be broken into two parts.
The first part will be a classroom session where we discuss course fundamentals, performance driving, tires/car setup, and data acquisition. The ground school will be in the evening on 5/11, with specifics sent to students via email. It is preferred that all students attend this in person. We plan to also offer virtually via Zoom, but in person attendance provides more value.
The second part will be held on Saturday, May 16th at Bremerton Motorsports Park. This will include various elements including slaloms, figure 8s, and a full course for the afternoon portion. The event will be capped at 20 students. The purpose for the limit is to make sure that each student receives specialized instruction tailored to their needs. You’ll also have two different instructors throughout the day to get different inputs and styles of instruction. We’ll have some of the top drivers from Northwest Region and Oregon Region as instructors!
Lunch is TBD, but will be provided.
This will be a full day at BMP.
As with normal autocross, you will be working when you’re not running/being instructed.
At the completion of the event, we’ll do some kind of social, and all are welcome to join for that as well.
