Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a pathway to greater freedom. And, in the radical vision of Marshall Rosenberg, we get free TOGETHER. I am excited to announce this brand NEW event format for learning NVC in community. This "buffet-style" event allows you to enjoy a variety of activities to choose from for learning NVC - and a chance to apply the skills of NVC live in community while navigating the event itself. You'll have options to...- watch Marshall himself teach (a continuation of our "Making Life Wonderful" video series)

You are welcome regardless of your familiarity with NVC. All you need is a willingness to connect with yourself and others in the moment and to be both lovingly honest and open to others, too. Let's learn together how to hear other's longings and voice our own, too - and then find ways forward that meet ALL the needs in the room! This is NVC in ACTION.
Each session will begin with a dinner at 6 pm and socializing. Then the programming will begin just after 6:30 pm til 8:30 pm. Every other month, starting in May, we will have Pam Winthrop-Lauer, a local NVC teacher, do a Q&A to answer your questions or support you in problem-solving how to apply NVC in your life.
This offering is based in the gift economy where you can receive it as a gift and, if moved, give money towards Slow's sustainability and the continuation of this event. Below is a sliding scale to support you in considering what to donate, but feel free to give what feels aligned for you - there's no amount too small or large!
$20 - I am comfortably able to meet my basic needs, am employed, and have access to financial savings.
$10 - I may struggle at times, and have some debt, but it does not prohibit me from meeting my basic needs.
$2 - I am unemployed or underemployed with very limited expendable income.
Lastly, I am very intent on building this event to best serve the interests and needs of our community, so expect for this to evolve as we go along! I look forward to integrating feedback.
