Celebrate the grand opening of our StoryWalk® at Nuts About Nature on Saturday, September 13, from 10AM – 12PM at the Hedrick Family Forest (at the start of the Canopy Walk). StoryWalk® promotes early literacy, physical activity, and family time together in nature. Take a stroll and enjoy pages from a children’s story along your path! Our first featured StoryWalk® book is Señorita Mariposa by Ben Gundersheimer, or Mister G! After, join family Zumba classes by AMAR for Kids at 10AM or 11AM, explore monarch butterfly migration, observe life cycle replicas, and view a butterfly wing under a microscope. This free event is open to all ages with adult supervision.
