Nurture the Whole You: A Wellness Experience for the Mind, Body & Soul
Nurture the Whole You: Food, Healing and Mental Wellness is a free, community centered wellness experience focused on caring for the mind, body, and soul.
This outreach and education event brings together trusted clinicians and a nutrition expert to help demystify mental health support and explore how food plays a powerful role in whole body wellness.
The experience begins with Dr. Michelle Beadle Holder of Food at the Center, who will lead an interactive session on Mindful Eating for Everyday Life, including a live cooking demonstration, education on nourishing foods and spices, and practical tips for building healthy habits. Participants will enjoy a light lunch prepared during the session.
Following lunch, attendees will hear from a panel of trusted clinical partners who will introduce themselves, share their areas of expertise, explain what to expect in therapy, and answer common questions. This conversation is designed to reduce stigma, increase understanding, and help participants feel more confident accessing mental health support.
This event is open to the community and free to attend. Registration is required.
