The NHS Chief Nursing Officers of Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire warmly invite you to attend the Nurses and Midwives Service of Thanksgiving, to be held at Bristol Cathedral.
This special civic service is held in recognition of International Day of the Midwife and International Nurses Day, and provides an opportunity to recognise and give thanks for the remarkable contribution of nurses and midwives across the region.
The service will offer a moment to reflect on the compassion, professionalism and dedication shown every day by the nursing and midwifery workforce in caring for individuals, families and communities. It will bring together nurses and midwives from across health and care, alongside colleagues, partners, civic leaders and members of the public.
Through readings, music and shared reflection, the service will be both celebratory and reflective, honouring service, leadership and the values at the heart of nursing and midwifery.
All are warmly welcome to attend this meaningful and inclusive occasion.
