Dan is the Head of the NSW Office for AI within Digital NSW, Department of Customer Service. He leads whole-of-government work on artificial intelligence, focused on navigating complex, system-wide change and enabling safe, effective AI adoption across NSW Government.
Driven by curiosity and decades of experience delivering organisational reform, Dan is known for solving complex, cross-government problems through consultation, ideation, and system-level reform. His strength lies in systems thinking – understanding how policy, technology, workforce, institutions, and supply chains interact, and how AI disruption creates workforce, societal, and economic impacts.
This approach underpins his work modernising AI policy, assurance, and operating models to build readiness, reduce uncertainty, and help government respond with agility to rapid AI innovation.
