Come Fish with Us and learn how to fish in your local waterways.
Register for our hands-on FREE two-hour fishing workshop at Fawcett Park, Ballina.
The fishing workshop includes sessions on how to rig up a rod, knot tying, fishing safety, correct casting techniques and a practical fishing session. It will also include some great tips on fishing responsibly, correct catch and release techniques and offer a chance to hear from experts about all things fishing to get started in your local area. All equipment is supplied on the day.
Bookings are essential as places are limited.
Each child participating must have a responsible adult in attendance to assist with practical fishing (minimum 1 parent per family group).
Please do not attend if you are sick or displaying any cold or flu symptoms.
NSW DPI Fishing workshops are run with the assistance of Fishcare Volunteers supported with funds from the Recreational Fishing Trusts.
