San Juan College (SJC) is excited to host its 5th Annual NC3 National Signing Day event on Thursday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Henderson Fine Arts Center Performance Hall. This celebratory event will also be live-streamed on SJC’s YouTube Channel, youtube.com/user/SanJuanCollegeNM, allowing friends and family to join virtually.Modeled after the NCAA’s National Signing Day for athletes, the NC3 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Letter of Intent Signing Day recognizes students committing to high-demand career and technical programs. What started in 2014 as a single event in Topeka, Kansas, has since expanded into a national celebration.
New and prospective students planning to enroll at San Juan College for the 2025-26 school year will participate in this exciting event. Signing Day acknowledges students’ commitment to professional career and technical programs that prepare them for promising futures in in-demand industries. Participating students will receive SJC merchandise and be entered into a drawing to win $1,000 scholarships from the San Juan College Foundation.
“We are thrilled to see this event continue to grow year after year,” says Troy Brown, Dean of the SJC School of Trades and Technology. “Welcoming these students to the SJC Suns family is as exciting for us as it is for any college coach signing new athletes!”
