Ghana Tour Information
We’re excited you are considering joining us for our annual Ghana Tour and we don’t take it lightly that you're entrusting us with your journey home to the Motherland. Every year we take a small group of 16-30 people, adults only it's intimate so we can get to know and support each other during the more emotional parts of reconnecting with our ancestors. During your 10-day tour you will have 8 full days of planned activities and 2 free days to explore.
Included in your package:
*3 informative zoom meetings (information about passports, visas, required vaccinations, travel insurance and more will be covered), *Roundtrip airfare from Dulles to Accra on a direct nonstop flight in economy (roughly 9 ½ hours each way), *Hotel accommodations, *Ground transportation with bottled water, snacks, AC & Wi-Fi on the bus, *Swag bag with tour t-shirt, *Professional photography & videography and you will receive all the picture taken throughout the tour, *African naming ceremony, *Entry into all excursions (including the slave dungeons and slave river), *Breakfast and dinner daily *Tour guides daily, *Shopping' *Packing list with suggested attire.
What not included in your package:
passports, visas, travel insurance, flight seat upgrades, vaccination, lunches, alcohol, gratuities, transportation or activities you plan for your free days.
The total cost of the tour is $5000 for double occupancy or $5800 for single occupancy per person. An invoice will be sent through PayPal for the total balance with a deposit of $500 due immediately. Once your deposit is paid, you’re required to use that same invoice to make your monthly, biweekly or weekly payment, just note that 50% must be paid by August 30th and paid in full by January 20th. No refunds unless we cancel the tour.
Group Leaders
If you have 15 or more people interested in touring Ghana with you, we also offer private tours for your group, you will receive a reduction in your price and a possibly cash reimbursement for every person that attends your tour.
