Situation Room Tilburg is de nieuwe noise/improv-avond in Tilburg. Drie lokale organisatoren (Vatican Analog, Het Concreet en HUTCAFE_ORG) bundelen de krachten voor een avondvullend programma vol onvoorspelbare en onafhankelijke elektronische muziek die niet kan wachten. Martha Thissen
Martha Thissen (1991, NL) is muzikant en beeldend kunstenaar. In haar videowerk en performances spelen theatrale elementen zoals tekst, geluid en decor een belangrijke rol. Tijdens Situation Room Tilburg#01 voert Thissen samen met performers Lenny van Gent en Malou Engbers het geluidsstuk Goodbye Goodbye is in my Room op in NS16. Dit klankstuk is op verschillende momenten en op uiteenlopende manieren uitgevoerd. Het werk onderzoekt een heterofonisch stemgeluid, waarbij de drie stemmen elkaar via bladmuziek proberen te vinden.

Frog Poison
Cryo-electron imaging studies of poison dart frog toxin molecules in action are helping to solve the mystery of why this is among the deadliest natural poisons.
When threatened, some tiny Amazon frogs defend themselves by releasing a substance that quickly incapacitates a predator. For centuries, a few Indigenous tribes in Colombia have siphoned this toxin from skin glands on the frogs' backs to coat blow darts for hunting, because of its power to take down big game.
The poison instantly cramps the muscles in the body and forces the heart into a chaotic rhythm that ends in cardiac arrest. Also, its a band with Vince and Lowie of The House Of Destructo, a notorious punkband from 20 years ago.
