About this Event
On the 20th anniversary of their inaugural Panchabhoota performance, four Indian Classical Dancers and a Yoga exponent come together to celebrate the journey of Nartaki as Yogini. The dancer whose dance becomes her yoga, and whose yoga awakens her Shakti.
20 year after a tremendous creative outpouring which included Vama - The Feminine, and Tao of the Heart, to complete the trilogy of performances, the dancers gather now as yoginis. To heroically encounter their four-fold drives of kama-mara-maya-vidya (eros-thanatos-mythos-logos), and transmute them into their four-fold Shakti: Harmony, Strength, Perfection, Wisdom. Each NrityaYogini finds a unique expression of her Shakti through the grace of a 20 year sadhana.
