NOWW LitFest will take place May 16-17, 2025 with special guest, Leacock long-lister and current Toronto Public Library Writer-in-Residence, Rod Carley! Also on hand to present workshops relevant to writing in Northern Ontario are Alana Forslund and Sue Carter of the Ontario Arts Council (OAC), publishers Heather Campbell of Latitude 46 and Makenzi Fisk of Mischievous Books, and over 20 authors and bookish artisans from Northwestern Ontario and region.Over the two day festival, readers and writers alike can participate in a variety of events including readings, writing-related workshops, a literary market/book fair and a gala evening celebrating the success of regional writers and writing and announcing the winners of the annual NOWW Writing Contest.
