Our artist reception will be hosted in conjunction with a Nowruz celebration on Saturday, March 14, from 12-4 p.m.
Nowruz, also known as Persian New Year or Iranian New Year, is a traditional festival that marks the beginning of the spring and the first day of the year in the Iranian calendar. The word “Nowruz” means “new day,” which symbolizes revival and renewal.
All are welcome to join in the festivities!
- Meet the artists behind the works in our March gallery, “Bahar” (Season of Spring).
- Attend the Bazaar, featuring an assortment of Persian vendors.
- Enjoy Persian treats and tea!
- View the beautiful “Haft-Sin” table, a tabletop arrangement of seven symbolic items which symbolize different aspects of life, renewal, and the hope for the coming year.
