The international artistic movement Noweapon.world arrives in Brussels with a new and significant chapter of its exhibition project dedicated to raising awareness against the global arms trade. The opening will take place on Saturday, 11 April 2026, from 4:00 PM at the House of Compassion, in the heart of Brussels. The event will bring together international artists, activists, organisations, curators, and citizens in a genuine moment of dialogue between contemporary art and civic engagement.

The exhibition will remain open to the public for two weeks from 11 April 2026. As the House of Compassion is an open and welcoming space, visitors will be able to access the exhibition freely throughout the entire period.

THE PROJECT Noweapon.world was founded with the aim of building an international network of artists who use creativity as a form of cultural resistance against the arms industry. The Brussels edition marks the fourth chapter of the project and represents a further step in the growth of this global artistic community.

THE EXHIBITION: TWO PHASES, ONE VOICE "No Weapon Posters in Brussels" unfolds in two complementary moments:

1. Public Poster Campaign: One hundred posters in B1 format (100x70 cm) created by participating artists will be displayed across central Brussels.
2. Exhibition at the House of Compassion: The same posters, presented in a smaller format and in an edition of three copies each, will be exhibited inside the House of Compassion in central Brussels for two weeks from 11 April 2026.

OPENING PROGRAMME - 11 APRIL 2026, 4:00 PM–7:00 PM The House of Compassion is an open and welcoming space, accessible to visitors at all times. The opening event will officially begin at 4:00 PM.

• 4:00 PM: Official presentation by the founders of Noweapon.world.
• Speeches: Official addresses by the NGO Emergency and the organisation Vredesactie.
• Artist Presentation: Introduction of the artists present at the event.

Le mouvement artistique international Noweapon.world arrive à Bruxelles avec une nouvelle étape significative de son projet d'exposition dédié à la sensibilisation contre le commerce mondial des armes. L'inauguration aura lieu le samedi 11 avril 2026 à partir de 16h00 à la House of Compassion, au cœur de Bruxelles. L'événement réunira des artistes internationaux, des activistes, des organisations, des curateurs et des citoyens dans un véritable moment de dialogue entre art contemporain et engagement civique.

L'exposition restera ouverte au public pendant deux semaines à partir du 11 avril 2026. La House of Compassion étant un espace ouvert et accueillant, les visiteurs pourront accéder librement à l'exposition pendant toute cette période.

De internationale artistieke beweging Noweapon.world komt naar Brussel met een nieuwe en betekenisvolle etappe van haar tentoonstellingsproject gewijd aan bewustwording rond de wereldwijde wapenhandel. De opening vindt plaats op zaterdag 11 april 2026 vanaf 16:00 uur in de House of Compassion, in het hart van Brussel. Het evenement brengt internationale kunstenaars, activisten, organisaties, curatoren en burgers samen in een oprecht gesprek tussen hedendaagse kunst en maatschappelijk engagement.

De tentoonstelling blijft twee weken open voor het publiek vanaf 11 april 2026. De House of Compassion is een open en gastvrije ruimte die te allen tijde toegankelijk is, zodat bezoekers de tentoonstelling gedurende de hele periode vrij kunnen bezoeken.

HET PROJECT Noweapon.world is opgericht met als doel een internationaal netwerk te bouwen van kunstenaars die creativiteit inzetten als een vorm van culturele weerstand tegen de wapenindustrie. De Brusselse editie markeert het vierde hoofdstuk van het project en is een volgende stap in de groei van deze wereldwijde artistieke gemeenschap.

DE TENTOONSTELLING: TWEE FASES, ÉÉN STEM "No Weapon Posters in Brussels" ontvouwt zich in twee complementaire momenten:

1. Publieke affichering: Honderd posters in B1-formaat (100x70 cm) gemaakt door deelnemende kunstenaars worden opgehangen in de centrale wijken van Brussel.
2. Tentoonstelling in de House of Compassion: Dezelfde posters, gepresenteerd in een kleiner formaat en in een oplage van drie exemplaren elk, worden gedurende twee weken tentoongesteld in de House of Compassion in het centrum van Brussel, vanaf 11 april 2026.

OPENINGSPROGRAMMA - 11 APRIL 2026, 16:00-19:00 UUR De House of Compassion is een open en gastvrije ruimte, die te allen tijde toegankelijk is voor bezoekers. Het openingsevenement begint officieel om 16:00 uur.
