Are you ready to break free from the startup mindset and take your business to the next level? Join us for "Now What? Elevating Your Business Beyond Startup in 2025," a transformative workshop designed for entrepreneurs looking to scale up and move forward with purpose. In collaboration with an expert grant writer specializing in business planning, pitch decks, and grants, we’ll guide you through:
- A comprehensive review of your existing pitch deck and business plan (templates provided in advance if needed).
- Identifying what’s working and brings you joy in your business.
- Pinpointing what’s not working and is draining your energy.
- Mapping out where you want to go next in your entrepreneurial journey.
- Setting SMART goals (short-term and long-term) to help you achieve your vision in 2025 and beyond.
Whether you're working with investors, applying for grants, or simply reimagining your growth, this workshop will give you the tools and clarity you need to take action. Let's work together to turn your ambitions into tangible, achievable outcomes!

- 6:00pm - 6:30pm: Networking and getting to know your workshop host and fellow attendees! Grab some light bites and a drink!
- 6:30pm - 8:00pm: Workshop teachings, exercises & discussion
- 8:00pm - 8:15pm: Closing discussions & networking

As 21st-century businesswomen, we are honored to gather in this iconic space, reclaiming its legacy to propel our own journeys and redefine the future of business.
What to bring:
- Worksheets will be provided but feel free to bring your own notebooks or devices to take additional notes!
Parking:
- Street parking is free if you can find a spot, otherwise, the Kansas City Library parking garage is available for a fee of $10. However, parking is free if you head over to the library and get your ticket validated!

About Our Workshop Host | Kelsey Walker
Kelsey Walker began life in Kansas City before moving to Chicago with her family. The city and her grandmother’s philanthropic prowess formed her passion for nonprofit missions. She has since worked for nonprofits for the last 15 years, making her start doing search and rescue in New Mexico and climbing her way to becoming owner of Green Desk Grant Writing.
She is a published author and fosters a rich writing and development history. She coaches high school colorguard that she has fostered a love for since age 8, being part of a dynasty state championship team in high school and proudly marching with the “Pride of Wildcat Land” Kansas State University Marching Band for three years in college. She is married to Christopher Walker and has two kids, Cayden and Ember.
