Winners of mens novice competition can't compete again they have too compete in the mens open competition later in the year

5 events are as follows
1. The Brianna stones
85kg & 115kg joined together 2 meters apart you've to lift one of the stones at a time to the length of the chain then the other stone to be carried and over a 10 metre course both stone have to be placed over the line before time stops do not throw the stones as they are historic and respect too
2. Fin Mc Cool Stone hold
Stand on a platform hold a 20kg stone out in front of you for time best time wins
3. Walking Stones
Mrs Dinnie & Baby Donald
86kg - 107.8kg ringed stones
Lift them and walk round a pen for distance best distance wins
4. steen stone toss
Throw a 14kg stone behind you in front of you watever way suits you longs you throw it down the course you've two throws best throw taken and if your feet go across the kick timber plinth it's a no throw best throw wins
5. 5 stone barrel load
5 x lifting stones 80kg 90kg 100kg 115kg 120kg 60 secs time limit each stone timed ..........
Kilts & t-shirts must be worn in the competition all day
Chalk, belts and elbow/knee sleeves all must be used on the day
Attention
No homemade leg guards, arm sleeves, Tacky, deadlift or squat suits are not allowed to be used in the competition
