St. Margaret Mary Alacoque started and popularized The Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, inspired by visions of Jesus. It was a favorite prayer of Saint Padre Pio, and he prayed it daily.To receive the promises Jesus made to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, there are a few requirements:
1. Receiving Communion frequently.
2. Going to Confession and receiving the Eucharist on the first Friday of each month for nine consecutive months.
3. Celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart.
Our Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will begin on the 1st Friday of every month, from September 1, 2023, through June 7, 2024. Everyone is invited to pray the Novena with us during our First Friday Masses at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel and join us each Sunday for Mass.
