November Wonky China - Jan Berris, NCUSCR

Our November gathering will feature Jan Berris, Vice President of the National Committee on US-China Relations (NCUSCR). Jan has a lifetime of stories to tell that begin with her involvement with the 1972 China Ping Pong team's first visit to the US to her role in navigating the waters in today's increasingly unstable US-China relationship. In addition to her decades of work sending and receiving hundreds of US and Chinese delegations, she has also developed several ongoing flagship programs such as the Public Intellectuals Program, whose newest members will join us for the event.
