NOTE: This walk is NOT the 3rd Monday of the Month like we usually do. Due to shorter days, we're doing a very special, off-schedule, small business focused walk ahead of the holidays! Same format, same amazing featured guests, same warm community feel.
Join downtown business owners for an Old-Town-focused walk ahead of the holidays & WINdepent weekend.
This walk is a Collaboration between BikeWalk & Friends of Old Town!
With the holidays coming up, and WINdependent weekend just around the corner, this walk showcases the small businesses that sit at the heart of our Winchester community.
This walk serves as a reminder that these businesses don't exist without our support, and that they are the foundation and backdrop for any vibrant, walkable city.
Put simply, we don't have a walkable city without our small businesses. Meet the owners, learn about the passions that led them to start their own business, and get to know these hardworking neighbors.

What's a TalkWALK?
This casual walk series is held in a different Winchester neighborhood each month and features a variety of special guests including longtime residents, business owners, city employees, elected officials, community leaders, local historians, naturalists, experts, and enthusiasts.
Each month we'll meet up in a different neighborhood and walk with invited guests, who will be available to chat and share insights as we explore.
Walks will be 2-3 miles, starting and ending at a park or school, with a midpoint return option for those who prefer a shorter route.
Let’s explore Winchester, learn something new, exchange ideas, enjoy good company, and get fresh air together.
