Calling all Chili Cookoff Competitors! It’s that time of year! Get your best chili recipe ready. You may enter at $20/per chili. Entry fee will be a donation to the Winchester Area NAACP Youth Fund and must be paid by November 10th to Winchester Brew Works (cash or credit).*Entrants must provide: 6 quarts of chili ready to serve. Warming method (recommend crock pot or sterno). Ladle and spoon for serving. Volunteer or chef to help serve
*Chili must be ready to serve at 12:45 pm
*Winchester Brew Works will provide: Tastings cups & spoons, Signage, Volunteer for accepting donations, Cornbread for palate cleansing.
*ALL entries will be available to the general public for a suggested donation of $10/person.
*Two prizes will be awarded: (1) Judge’s Award for Best Chili in Winchester: $50 donation in the name of the winner and $50 Visa gift card. (2) People’s Choice Award: based on votes from the public. $50 donation in the name of the winner and $50 gift card.
